100th Post!

100th-postThe title of the post and the picture (check out my mad MS Paint skills!!) are pretty self-explanatory, but in case I wasn’t obvious enough, this is my 100th published post on Of Dragons and Hearts! This week also marks six months since I started this blog (in May), so I have a double cause for celebration.

I am so glad I started blogging. I found a creative way of releasing all those thoughts about books that have been stewing in my head for a while and I’m glad to have found so many beautiful blogs to read and interact with during this time. My life has changed so much these past six months (what with the baby and all :p ), and this place has been a great outlet for me.

I live in Slovenia, where we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, but I find this to be a good time of year to say thanks anyway (and I think it’s a tradition we should all adopt and practice more than once a year): I want to thank you all for reading what I write, for commenting, and for being wonderful, kind, thoughtful peopleMay all the books you read be good, may you have all the cookies and hot cocoa (or whatever hot beverage you prefer), and may you always have a comfortable chair to read in.

Group hug!

  • Goes fast doesn’t it? Soon you will do a one year post and wonder where all the visitors keep coming from -)

I really hope you’re right! I’m enjoying this very much. Thanks for reading & commenting!

  • Happy 100th post! You have a nice variety of posts, hope you continue to enjoy it. I know what you mean about blogging. It’s funny, I have a hard time imagining reading without reviewing a book now, LOL. Enjoy your week.

      Thanks, Greg! :)
And I know what you mean about the change in reading – I started making notes as I read so I don’t forget anything I want to write in my reviews!

  • Happy 100th and congratulations!

      Thanks, Bea! :)
It’s a wonderful thing to know people out there are actually reading what I write!
